Welcome to the Lean Construction Institute's Certification Portal!

Participation in the Lean Construction Institute-Certified Practitioner-Construction (LCI-CPC) program is voluntary and open to anyone meeting candidacy requirements at the time of application.

This program has two certifications:

• Lean Construction Institute-Certified Practicioner-Contruction (LCI-CPC)
• Lean Construction Institute- Certified Practitioner-Design (LCI-CPD)

Steps to Certification

• 3+ years of employer-verified Lean work experience (2,080 hours per year).
• Review Candidate Handbook 
  • LCI-CPC Candidate Handbook
  • LCI-CPD Candidate Handbook
• Submit application (including two letters of reference each addressing your experience with both Respect for People and Driving Continuous Improvement) and pay fee.
• Take and pass a knowledge assessment exam based on the Content Outline.
• Submit a capabilities assessment based on the Content Outline requirements to show experience.

Certification fees:

• $599 for LCI members
• $999 for non-members
