GENERAL INFORMATION GUIDE
The General Information Guide (GIG) contains the current procedures and guidelines for individuals interested in becoming certified by the American College of Theriogenologists (ACT). Each candidate must fulfill the requirements outlined in the General Information Guide edition in effect at the time he/she registers with the ACT office at the beginning of his/her training program. RESIDENCY PROGRAM APPLICATION
There are three distinct routes to ACT diplomate candidacy:
- Traditional Residency - This application can be found on Prolydian under ACT Application - Residency Training Route
- Alternate Route - This application can be found on Prolydian under ACT Application - Alternate Training Route
- Graduate Degree Route - This application can be found on Prolydian under ACT Application - Graduate Training Route

DIPLOMATE CANDIDACY APPLICATION
Applications to sit for the ACT Certifying Exam (credentials packets) are due annually by December 1.

MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION
Diplomates of the American College of Theriogenologists awarded specialist status following examination in 2016 or later are required to petition for Maintenance of Certification every 10 years. Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements and guidelines, and the procedure for petitioning for MOC, are described on the ACT website here. Each Diplomate is responsible for recording and documenting activities required for Maintenance of Certification within their Prolydian account.

- You can apply for renewal of your ACT Diplomate certification using the ACT Diplomate Recertification Application
